How It Works
Effitix combines two powerful active ingredients for maximum efficacy:
- Fipronil: Targets the nervous system of parasites, providing rapid kill action against fleas and ticks
- Permethrin: Offers dual action as both an insecticide and repellent, particularly effective against mosquitoes and sandflies
This dual-action formula not only kills existing parasites but also repels new infestations, providing comprehensive protection.
Application Instructions
- Prepare the pipette: Remove from blister pack and hold upright. Tap the narrow end to ensure contents are in the main body
- Open the pipette: Break the top along the indicated line using the unique "Drop-Stop" technology
- Part the fur: Separate your dog's coat between the shoulder blades until skin is visible
- Apply the solution: Squeeze the pipette to empty contents at 2-4 different points along the spine from shoulders to tail base
- Allow to dry: Let the application site dry completely before handling your dog
Dosage & Treatment Schedule
For Large Dogs (20-40 kg): Apply 1 pipette (4.4 ml) monthly
Treatment Frequency: Repeat every 4 weeks for continuous protection
Age Requirement: Safe for dogs 8 weeks of age and older
Efficacy Timeline
- Fleas: Killed within 24-48 hours of application
- Ticks: Eliminated within 48 hours to 1 week

Critical Warnings
- DO NOT USE ON CATS: Extremely toxic to cats - keep treated dogs away from cats until application site is dry
- Age Restriction: Not for use in dogs under 8 weeks of age or weighing less than 1.5 kg
- Species Restriction: Do not use on rabbits or other small animals

- Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes
