Panacur 10% Oral Suspension 500 ml
Type: Broad-spectrum anthelmintic oral suspension for veterinary use.
Active ingredient: Fenbendazole 100 mg per ml (10%).
Indications
- Treatment and control of gastrointestinal nematodes (roundworms) in cattle and horses; also effective against lungworms in cattle as per label.
- Ovicidal activity on roundworm eggs; activity against certain cestodes (tapeworms) in cattle where stated on the pack insert.
Dosage and Administration
- Oral use only. Shake well before use.
- Typical routine dose for large animals is 5 mg fenbendazole per kg body weight (equivalent to 0.5 ml per 10 kg) unless the label specifies otherwise for particular parasites or species.
- Administer using appropriate drenching equipment; ensure accurate weight-based dosing.
Directions and Use Notes
- Ready-to-use aqueous suspension; no dilution required.
- Can be given with feed or directly by mouth after gentle mixing.
- Follow herd or stable deworming plans and repeat based on veterinary guidance and parasite risk.
Contraindications and Precautions
- Use only as directed on the national product label for the target species listed.
- Observe all withdrawal periods for meat and milk as specified by the local product leaflet.
- Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to fenbendazole or formulation excipients.
- Store below 30°C, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
