Xylaject is one of the most famous cats and dogs drugs in Egypt.

It's a key elements for every Vet in a daily use.

Composition of Xylaject.

Each 1 ml contains:
Xylazine Hydrochloride 23.3 mg (Eq. to 20 mg Xylazine ).

Properties:

Xylazine is an alpha-2 agonist with sedative, some analgesic and muscle relaxant properties, for use in cattle.
horses, dogs and cats. In cattle, which are more sensitive to the agent, the degree of sedation can be predetermined according to the dose administered. A strong emetic effect is usual in cats and dogs. Xylazine induces strong cardiovascular effects e.g. bradycardia and increased blood pressure.
Hyperglycaemia is also induced.

When to use?

Is a sedating, pre-anaesthetic medication, & even general anaesthesia in combination with ketamine, and epidural anaesthesia in both dogs and cats.

Sometimes used as emetic agent in cats.

DONT GIVE TO WEAK and DEBILITATED ANIMALS.

Used With caution under Vet supervision only.
